Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport, where you will be warmly welcomed and
transferred to Rivertrees Country Inn for an overnight stay. Enjoy a delightful
dinner as you settle into the serene surroundings.
Enjoy a leisurely morning to acclimatize and catch up on sleep. In mid-morning, transfer to Arusha National Park for a day of exploration. Discover the stunning Ngurdoto Crater and the serene Momella Lakes, where you can canoe and spot resident hippos and vibrant birdlife. Return to Rivertrees Country Inn for a restful evening.
After an early breakfast, set off for Tarangire National Park, famous for its massive elephant herds and picturesque baobab trees. Enjoy a full day of game drives before arriving at Tarangire Ndovu Tented Lodge, located in the heart of the park. Savor sundowners and a campfire dinner under the stars.
Spend another exciting day exploring Tarangire. Visit the Silalei swamp to observe elephants grazing and potential predator sightings. After a refreshing shower and dinner at the lodge, embark on a night game drive to discover the park’s nocturnal wildlife.
Depart Tarangire and head to Mto wa Mbu for a tuk-tuk tour of local farms and villages. Experience the bustling life of this vibrant community and enjoy a traditional Swahili lunch hosted by a local women’s co-op. Continue to Ziwani Lodge at Lake Eyasi for an overnight stay.
Rise early for an unforgettable experience with the Hadzabe tribe. Join them on a morning hunting expedition, gaining insight into their nomadic lifestyle. Later, visit the Datoga tribe for a traditional blacksmith demonstration and other cultural activities. Return to Ziwani Lodge for brunch and an afternoon of relaxation by the pool.
Travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the crater floor for a game drive. Explore the diverse ecosystems of this World Heritage site, from open plains to swamps and woodlands. Stay overnight at Lion’s Paw on the crater rim.
Drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the Serengeti. Depending on the season, witness the wildebeest migration in the southern plains or northern areas. Enjoy dinner and storytelling around the campfire at Ndutu or Kogatende Mobile Migration Camp.
