The camp itself is permanently positioned throughout the year with accessible fresh water supplies and fuelled by pure sunlight. Careful attention focusses on environmentally-friendly process for water drainage and habitat impact. Each area of the camp is linked to the next with carefully constructed wooden walkways and natural granite paths. There is over 500 million years of geological history in this area, granite rock incessantly moulded by heat and water, pre-history until today, exposing and creating the giant bubbles that we know as ‘kopjes’.
The kopjes are an eco-system within themselves, supporting many of species of wildlife. They provide protection from grass-fires, access to pooled water, holes, cracks, and caves for animals to hide, and a vantage point for predators of all kinds. Hundreds of species of plants grow on kopjes which many species rely on. The brilliance of resident and migratory wildlife sightings range from insects, lizards, and snakes, to mammals such as shrews and mice, up to large specialist mammals like lion and cheetah. There is something wonderful to see all year round.
Wildlife viewing and bird watching game drives within the central Serengeti are offered twice per day. Experienced guides encourage guests to see and experience the Serengeti through their eyes, sharing a world of small and large wonders that only they truly know and understand.

The safari is followed by a champagne breakfast in the bush, a fitting end to a memorable flight in the wild.
